Ada Patterson

Tulsa - Ada Leola Davidson Patterson formerly of Grove died Thursday February 8, 2007 at Leisure Village in Tulsa Oklahoma. Ada was born December 13, 1909 in Southwest City Missouri to Allen and Julia (Hendricks) Weyer. On November 28, 1929, Ada was united in marriage to Marvin Davidson in Claremore Oklahoma. Marvin preceded her in death in December of 1963. Ada later married James C. Patterson who also preceded her in death in September of 1986. Before Ada's retirement she worked as a Nurses Aide for Nowata General Hospital. She lived in Chelsea, Bartlesville, in Grove for thirty years but has resided in Tulsa for the last seven years. Ada was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grove and the Grove Senior Citizen Center. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley May of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Norma Jean Witte of San Antonio Texas, and her son David Davidson of Sperry Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great children. Ada was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, three brothers, Ralph Weyer, Ray Weyer, Fred Weyer, and one sister Helen Lobdell. Visitation will be held just prior to the funeral services Monday, February 12, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel in Grove Oklahoma, with Chaplin Dominick "Duke" DiGiovanni of Broken Arrow officiating. Interment will immediately following at Olympus Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
