Arla Easlon

Arla Jean Easlon, age 83, passed away on January 16, 2014 in Grove, Oklahoma. Jean was born on March 18, 1930 in Douglas, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Arlis and Docia (Gibson) Carroll. Jean worked as a dental assistant in Oklahoma City for 25 years. Jean married Edward L Easlon in 1969. They lived in Dallas from 1977 until moving to the Grove area in 2001. Jean was an avid gardener, who loved growing flowers and tending to her plants. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Bob Carroll. She is survived by her husband Edward of the home and one brother J.C. Carroll from Homer, Louisiana. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2013 at the Faith Church of Grove with Pastor Jim Pelley officiating. In lieu of flowers, Ed has requested that "You do something nice for your loved one, and tell them you love them".
