Betty Alexander

Betty Marie Alexander, passed away on August 11, 2016 at her home in Grove, Oklahoma. Betty was born on June 28, 1936 in International Falls, Minnesota to Fred and Eva (Bird) Grover. She graduated from International Falls High School. On May 26, 1955 Betty was united in marriage to Gordon Alexander. They celebrated 61 years together. Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Willard Grover and David Grover; one sister, Shirley Lysdal. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Alexander of the home; five children; Tom Alexander, Eugene, Oregon, Frank Alexander, Vinita, Oregon, Wesly Alexander, Grove, OK, Wayne Alexander, Grove, OK, Sandra Combs, Grove, OK; one granddaughter, Jette Alexander, Grove, OK. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
