Bill Bushyhead

William R. "Bill" Bushyhead, age 76, died on August 21, 2012 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Bill was the son of Butler and Liddie Belle (Elam) Bushyhead, he was born on April 3, 1936 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Bill attended school in Jay, Oklahoma, NEO in Miami and received his Bachelors degree from NSU in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Bill retired from the United States Navy with the rank of a Chief Petty Officer - Navigator, serving from 1954-1976. Then Bill worked and retired from the United Postal Service. Bill was a member of the Grove Moose Lodge, Grove Elks Lodge and the VFW. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Nancy Jane Bushyhead. Bill is survived by his two sons Glenn Bushyhead and Joe Bushyhead and on daughter Laura Etling. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.
