Carl Armand Kunz, 56, passed away on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Carl was born on June 10, 1958 in San Francisco, CA, the son of the late Alvin Charles Kunz and the late Eldia M. (Emmons) Kunz. Carl grew up and spent all but the last year of his life in his beloved ‘city by the bay', San Francisco. He attended E R Taylor Elementary School, Portola Jr. High and Woodrow Wilson High School. For many years, he was a faithful and hardworking employee of Cala Foods. Carl was an avid SF Giants and 49'ers fan. He especially loved socializing with his many good and long-time friends in SF. He also loved vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with his second wife Sue and his devoted best friend and companion Marsha Weeden. In December of 2013, Carl and Marsha moved to Grove, OK, to be near his daughter Christina and grandchildren Michael and Laila. He made many friends in the Grove area while living there. Carl, your smiling face, blue bright eyes and boisterous laughter will be greatly missed by your family and friends. As you sail into the ‘sunset', may you have ‘fair winds and following seas', and as you rest in the arms of God. You will always be remembered and loved. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Gerard Kunz; wife Nellie Karen Kunz-Bustamante; wife Sue Lewis Kunz; and grandchild Jeremiah Thomas McGinnes.
