Carolyn Steelsmith

Santa Paula, California - Formerly of Grove, Oklahoma: Carolyn N. Steelsmith, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2007 in Ventura County Medical Center after a three year illness. Carolyn was born on January 20, 1945 in Tennessee to Charlie Green and Sally Carolyn Vaughn. Carolyn enjoyed playing bingo, bonco, camping and going shopping. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Steelsmith, father Charlie Green and Lloyd Copeland and her dear friend Donna Padgett. She is survived by her smother Sally Copeland, brothers Lloyd Copeland and wife Joanne, James Copeland and wife Kelly, Charlie Green and his wife Hazel. Sister Jennie Bakley and her five children, Terri Steelsmith, Larry Davis, Pattie Davis, Tommy Davis, Mitchell Davis, 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held May 2, 2007 at Skillin-Carrol Mortuary in Santa Paula California. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2007 at Council House Cemetery in Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
