Charlie Husong

GROVE - Charlie Husong, age 71, died November 23, 2007 at his residence in Grove, Oklahoma. Charlie was born on July 7, 1936 to Everett and Viola (Baker) Husong. He served in the United States Army, loved to travel, and was a lifetime member of the VFW. Charlie owned, operated and sold automobiles. He was united in marriage to Jamey Quinton on August 31, 1991. Survivors included his wife Jamey of the home, one daughter Colleen Williams of Derby, Kansas, one son Charlie Husong Jr. of Grove, Oklahoma, two sisters Marie Huckaby if Fithion Illinois, and Leona Taunniece of Grove, Oklahoma, four brothers, George Husong, Frank Husong, Robert Husong all of Grove, Oklahoma and Lloyd Husong of Jay, Oklahoma, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Manual, and three sisters Roberta, Glenda and Patty. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2007 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ray Larkin officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice of Grove.
