Grove - Daniel Paul Bradley passed away January 16, 2007, after a 20 year struggle with emphysema. He was born October 23, 1939, in Springfield, Illinois. He had one younger brother Michael, who died at the age of 10 months. Danny grew up in the Wichita area with his mother, maternal grandparents, and relatives. He excelled in sports, mainly wrestling and football. He graduated from Wichita High School North and attended on year of college at Wichita University. It was during that time that he married Judy Smith on July 31, 1959, and became a father of two- Kerry and Kelly. Danny drove a semi-truck for fifteen years for Safeway Stores, Luper, McGills and Graves all over the mid-west. In the mid 80's, Danny discovered he had emphysema, from smoking Danny and Judy moved to Grove, Oklahoma in 1987. He began working for the City of Grove in 1989, first with Building and Grounds, but then later transferred to GMSA to be head operator of the Water Treatment Plant. He retired from the City of Grove in 2001after it become necessary for him to go on oxygen 24 hours a day He is survived by his wife, Judy; son Kerry Bradley of Grove; daughter Kelly Barnes and husband Noal of Wichita, Kansas; three grandchildren, Danielle Winegarner, Jessika Gooding, and Alli Barnes; three great-grandchildren, Jerek Winegarner, Karma Winegarner, and great-grandson due in a few weeks, two nieces, uncles, aunts and several cousins.
