Darren Hooker

Darren Patrick Hooker, age 41, after a long illness died on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at his residence in Miami, Oklahoma. The Son of the late Ted Franklin Hooker and Luanna (Bearskin) Hooker was born on June 29, 1967 in Joplin, Missouri. Darren graduated from Joplin-Parkwood High School. He was united in marriage to Holly (Palmer) Blaylock on September 24, 2004 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Darren enjoyed fishing and golfing. He worked as an Aerodynamic Inspector for Pride Plating in Grove prior to his illness. Darren was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Joe & Midge Bearskin, his paternal grandparents Harry & Estelena Hooker and his father Ted Hooker. Darren is survived by his wife Holly Hooker of the home, one sister Denise L. (Hooker) Propse of Lawrenceville, Georgia, two brothers Joseph T. Hooker of Joplin, Missouri and Jeffrey Shawn Hooker of Jay, Oklahoma and his mother Luanna Bearskin Hooker of Grove, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Grove Elks Lodge with Chief Leaford Bearskin officiating.
