Dennis Peterson

GROVE - Dennis Markley Peterson, age 54, died December 10, 2007 at Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. Dennis was born March 15, 1953 to Joe Hall and Beverly (Flock) Peterson in Eureka, Kansas. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany in the early 1970's. He worked as a general handyman and as a butcher at Tom Cat Corner Store. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his dog. Dennis is survived by his mother Beverly Fuqua of Missouri, step mother Geneva Peterson of Grove, Oklahoma, three children, Stacy Ann, Crystal Gayle and Lesa Renee, nine grandchildren, Sister Cynthia Crane of Georgia, one brother Andy Peterson of Georgia, two half-sisters Beverly Kimbrough and Elizabeth Ralston both of Missouri, three step-sisters Mary Denise of Edson, Kansas, Vickie Eaton of Kansas City, Missouri and Karen Corbin of Augusta, Kansas. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, and one granddaughter, Stephanie Ann. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Piedmont Cemetery in Piedmont, Kansas, with Marty Taliaferro officiating.
