Ethel Mae Fidler, 84-year-old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on March 21, 2018 at Monroe Manor. Ethel was born on August 25, 1933 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Murl E. and Evelyn (Bevard) Robinson. Ethel was a devoted wife to Sherman Fidler and loving mother of six children. She enjoyed needle work, quilting, canning, gardening and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, two brothers, two sisters, two grandsons, one great-great grandson and one great-great granddaughter. She is survived by her four sons; Roger Fidler and his wife Elaine of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Gene Fidler and his wife Vicki of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Marvin Fidler of Fairland, Oklahoma, Randall Fidler and his wife Jackie of Grove, Oklahoma, two daughters Sandra Bennett and her husband William of Jay, Oklahoma and Marsha Burkhead and her husband Donald of Roff, Oklahoma. Ethel was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8pm, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Indianola Cemetery with Pastor Darren Robbins officiating. Honoring Ethel's life serving as casket bearers will be: Earl Browning, Tyler Browning, Anthony Burkhead, Joseph Beck, Matt Burkhead and Mike Fidler, honorary bearer, Brian Fidler.
