Howard Roberts

Howard Lewis Roberts, 94, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home in Grove, Oklahoma. Howard was born on January 28, 1921 in Fairland, Oklahoma. He was the son of Silas and Ula (Gross) Roberts. Howard graduated from Fairland High school in 1939. Howard served during WWII in the United States Army Air Corps. Howard united in marriage June Kellogg in December of 1953 in Miami, Oklahoma. Howard was a member of the Wayside Assembly of God Church, he enjoyed reading his Bible, playing solitaire and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Tama L. Roberts, daughter; Debra Douglas, and three brothers; Charley Mack Roberts, John L. Roberts and Silas D. Roberts. Howard is survived by his wife June M. Roberts of the home, his four children; Royden Roberts and his wife Sandi of Grove, Ireva Odegaard and her husband Mark of The Dalles, Oregon, Calvin Roberts and his wife Kathy of Grove, and Keith Roberts and Holli Smith of Jay.
