Jack Corser

Jack Albert Corser, age 87, died on July 18, 2012 in Miami, Oklahoma. Jack was the son of W.S. and Alta (Leader) Corser; he was born on November 7, 1924 in Attica, Kansas. Jack proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. He married his Dear and Love of his life JoAnn Mill on October 25, 1976. Jack retired from the Coop in 1987. He was a member of the Faith Pentecostal Church in Miami, Oklahoma. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Noel, Leon, Delbert and Elvin; two sisters Frances Jeanette and Clareen and great grand daughter Maddyson Ogden. Jack is survived by his wife JoAnn of the home, his twin brother Jim Corser of Ulysses, two sons Charles Corser of Portsmouth, RI and Darrell Corser and his wife Sharon of Muskogee, OK; two daughters Linda Ball and husband Clyde of Dearing, KS and Brenda Baker of Independence, KS. He was blessed with eight grandchildren; Amy, April, Jason, Jon, Matt, Angie, Lori and T.J. along with nine great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Faith Pentecostal Church in Miami, Oklahoma with Pastor Mike Stephens officiating. Jack will be laid to rest in the Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends and family may leave online condolences by viewing Jack's obituary at www.ellisfuneralhome.com.
