Jim "Windy Jim" Wilkins age 74 of Wyandotte, OK died Friday May 7, 2010 in the Muskogee Veterans Hospital in Muskogee, OK. The son of John Henry Wilkins and Gertrude Kingrey Wilkins, he was born on June 29, 1935 in Hornet, MO. Jim married Sally Jean Wagoner on February 14, 1958 in Oronogo, MO. He owned and operated Jim's Refrigeration and Bait in Wyandotte, for over 20 years. Latter he had S & J Tire. Jim served in the U. S. Navy. Surviving are his wife Sally Wilkins, a daughter Paula Parrish, grandson Steven Wilkins and wife Brittany, a granddaughter Rebecca Murphey, and three great grandchildren Tia, Steven Jr, and Kaybear Wilkins. Also two brothers John and Jack Wilkins. A brother George Wilkins preceded him in death. The funeral will be at the graveside in the Wyandotte Cemetery at 10:00 am on Tuesday May 11, 2010 with David Knox officiating.
