Jimmie Crow

Jimmie C. Crow, Jr., passed away at the Integris Grove Hospital in Grove, OK, on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the age of 53. Jimmie was born November 18, 1958 in Tulsa, OK, the son of Jimmie C. Crow, Sr. and the late Belva (McDaniels) Crow Farina. Jimmie attended his high school years in Tahlequah, OK until moving to Texas. Later Jimmie received his GED in Texas and then attend obtained some college credits. He was a truck driver most of his life where he traveled all over the country. Jimmie enjoyed playing guitar, riding in and attending rodeos, fishing, swimming, and loved a good BBQ meal and camping. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his mother Belva Lea Farina. He is survived by longtime companion Sherry Taylor; his son Justin Crow of Miami, OK; two daughters: Jessica Porhola and her husband Greg of California, and Jaci Kay Crow of Tulsa, OK; one grandson Preston Porhola of California; father Jimmie C. Crow, Sr. and his wife Lee of Locust Grove, OK; brothers: Curtis Crow of Locust Grove, OK, and John Crow of Locust Grove, OK; sisters: Carlae Duffield of Tulsa, OK, and Valencia Haynes of England; ; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The cremation is under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
