Jimmie Jennings

Jimmie Leroy Jennings, age 77, passed away at his home in Grove, Oklahoma on November 21, 2009. The son of Mildred (Boyd) Jennings, Heatwole and Harry Jennings, Jimmie was born on January 3, 1932 in Salina, Kansas. Jim served in the Korean War in the United States Navy. He was a farmer and worked for Marquette's city maintenance until his retirement. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jimmie Steven Jennings. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Julia Ann, daughter Joyce Hayden and her husband Jim, two sons Jon Jennings of Marquette, Kansas and Joe Jennings and his wife Pam of Hillsboro, Kansas, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends.
