Melba Beebe

Melba Lorese Beebe, age 66, died on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. Melba was born on May 3, 1942 at Ada, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Darwin Beebe on June 11, 1974 in Texas. They have lived in the Grove area since 2001, relocating from Sulphur, Oklahoma. Melba was baptized in the Lutheran church on November 11, 1984. She loved reading all kinds of books, and enjoyed working on the computer. Melba was preceded in death by her parents Chester B. and Norma (Lamb) Etherly one son Kenneth "Buddy" Honea, and one sister Dee Price. Survivors include her husband Darwin Beebe, three sons Keith Beebe of Salix, Iowa, Scotty Beebe of Alva, Oklahoma, Billy Honea of Glenco, Oklahoma, two daughters Jeanna Edwards of Ashland, Missouri, Julie Hays of Ardmore, Oklahoma, one brother Jimmy Don Etherly of Stratford, Oklahoma, two sisters Vala and Jeannie both of Ada, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, December 30, 2008 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma.
