WYANDOTTE: Milton Edgar Parrish, 81, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007 at his residence in Wyandotte Oklahoma. Milton was born July 27, 1925 in Champaign Illinois to Thomas and Bessie (Sigman) Parrish. Milton was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Milt was the former manager of Mobil Power Wash and CH Heist in Ohio. After moving to the Grove in 1987, Milt served as Chairman of the Board and Water Operator for the Holiday Shores Property Owners Association of Grove from 1989 until 1994. Milton loved to work in the yard and gardening. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 32 years, Lois Jane Parrish and his son Milton E. Parrish, Jr. Milton is survived by his wife of ten years, Paula "Wilkins" Parrish of the home, two daughters Rebecca Murphey and husband Brad of Euless, Texas, Elizabeth Parrish of Ohio, stepson, Steven Wilkins and wife Brittany of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; one brother Bobby Parrish and wife Alice of St. Paul, Minnesota, seven grandchildren Matthew Higgins, Caitlyn Murphey, Timothy Murphey, Elizabeth Murphey, Jacob Murphey, Noah Murphey of Texas and Tia "Tater" Conley of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, along with a host of other relatives and friends. A Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service starting at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel, with David Knox officiating. Services have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Grove Oklahoma.
