Ruth Batt

Ruth Evelyn Batt, 93, passed away on October 11, 2016 at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, Oklahoma. Ruth was born on August 22, 1923 in Sarcoxie, MO to Fredrick W. and Euda (Brown) Howell. Ruth attended Pierce City High School. She was married to Vernon Batt on December 26, 1966. Ruth worked for Olathe Hospital as a switchboard receptionist. She was active in the Moose Lodge and V.F.W. Auxiliary. Ruth and Vernon moved to Grove in 1981 where Ruth loved to fish on Grand Lake. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, three sisters and son, Roger Ferguson. She is survived by her son, Stephen Ferguson, Grove, OK; three beloved grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
