Terry Moore

Terry Alan Moore, age 59, of Grove, Oklahoma died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at his residence. He was born July 1, 1948 in Sikeston, Missouri to Lucille Carter He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed motorcycle riding and horseshoes. He was a member of the Grove Moose Lodge and Group 33, Inc. Terry moved to Grove in 1997 and worked as the first mate of the Cherokee Queen for seven years. He also worked for Pride Plating and retired as the manager of the Cherokee Queen Motel. Terry was preceded in death by his brother Jeff in 1995 and his father Dale Carter in 1993. Survivors include his wife Sheri Moore of the home, daughters Connie Heatwole, Becky Moore and Delores Curet, son Raymond P. James, mother Lucille Carter, brothers Don Davidson, Bob Davidson, Mike Carter and 7 grandchildren. There will be a memorial Cycle ride on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., in Grove Oklahoma from 4th & Grand Street to the Moose Lodge where a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Ellis Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
