Virginia Hale

Virginia "Mildred" Hale, 91, passed away on April 28, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Mildred was born on September 24, 1924 in Enid, Oklahoma. She was the only child of Allen Fredrick and Iva Mildred (Wilson) Hoffman. Mildred was united in marriage to Berlie Hale, Sr. on December 26, 1942 in Amarillo, Texas. Berlie was a supervisor for Boeing Aircraft, after his retirement, they moved to the grand lake area in 1984. She enjoyed crafting ceramics, sewing, scrap-booking and sketching art work. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Berlie Hale, Sr. She is survived by her four children; Berlie L. Hale, Jr and his wife Terry of Bernice, OK, Gary D. Hale of Henderson, NV, Allen G. Hale of Wichita, KS and Sharon Kay Hale of Wichita, KS. Mildred was blessed with fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Ballard Cemetery in Bernice, Oklahoma.
