Zelda Shaul

Zelda May Shaul, 67, died on September 20, 2007 at Integris Grove General Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Zelda was born on June 2, 1940 to Worth M. Thompson and Iluff M. (Bridger) Calvert in McFall, Missouri. In the middle of the night; waking the judge from his sleep, Zelda was united in marriage to William "Bill" Dale Shaul on December 3, 1955 in Pappillion, Nebraska. Zelda worked as an office manager for an Auto-Body business in San Diego, California. She and Bill made their home in Oklahoma in 1995. Zelda was a member of the First Christian Church in Afton, Oklahoma. She enjoyed bingo, reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband William D. Shaul, three children Iluff Coyner, William Shaul II, and Phillip Shaul all of Afton, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Zelda was preceded in death by her father, Worth M. Thompson, her mother Iluff M. Calvert, a sister, Ilena M. Owens, a brother, Ronald W. Thompson, granddaughter Rochelle Gregson, and great-great granddaughter, Jadzeia Cross. No services have been planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.
