Allen Tanner

February 15, 1980 — August 8, 2016

Allen Robert Tanner was born on February 15, 1980 at Claremore Indian Hospital to Robert and Donna (Wilson) Tanner. He developed Epilepsy at an early age and with each seizure he had we lost part of Allen. He was mentally handicapped and we loved him dearly. Allen lived at home with his family and spent many happy years going on family trips and spending time with his dogs. Allen brought us great joy with his smiles and the crazy things he'd say. He loved everybody and knew no strangers. He loved being with his dad. They went everywhere together. He loved to go fishing, playing in the waves at the ocean. He loved to play miniature golf but he'd cheat and that was okay. He loved to watch "Walker Texas Rangers" but "Dukes of Hazzard" was his favorite and "The Three Stooges". We never thought we'd have to say good bye to our son and even though we know he's wrapped in the arms of Jesus, it's still so hard. Allen was preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Tanner (Betty and John); Grandma and Grandpa Wilson (Fern and D.A. (Papawny); Burt Jackson; Mary Garner; Bo Jackson, Jerry Tanner and Aunt Jeanne Wilson. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Donna Tanner; sister, Christy Tanner; uncles, Larry Wilson and family, Leonard Tanner; Melvin Garner, Jeanine, Bud, Shelly, Tina, Daniel; Rick Tanner and family, Bobby Tanner and family; Aunt Brenda Gelming and family; Bonnie Tanner and family, as well as many other family and friends. RIP son till we see you again, Love Mom, Dad & Christy Services will be held at 2PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Ellis Family Funeral Chapel followed by interment at Buzzard Cemetery.
