Monte Kitts

Monte Myer LaFever-Kitts, 53 year old resident of Bernice Oklahoma, passed away on May 23, 2016 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita, Oklahoma. Monte was born on December 22, 1962 in Boulder, Colorado. "Kitts" worked in steel construction for over thirty years with All State Tank, Wetzel Tank Construction and TC Tank Connections. He worked so that he could hunt and fish, which he was born to do. Monte was a good friend to many, who will miss him immensely, along with his loving family. Monte is survived by his wife Jan Williams of the home, his parents; Rodney and Bonita (Burr) Kitts, his daughters; Megan Kitts, Monica Kitts, Miranda Kitts and Tammy Chailer and her husband Charlie, his sister, Suzi Anne, nephew; Cpt. Joshua Wenta & family, and niece Bonnie Watson. The family has chosen cremation with final resting place is pending. There will be a private memorial at the Dog House at a later date.
